These shoes were made for walking...

I am most definitely a shoe person. I love shoes, and I love it when my shoes are cute. Mission shoes need to be comfortable, black, flat, expensive and are probably ugly...sounds promising right? Well, thanks to lovely, free-thinking, comfort-seeking Europeans it is! Here are a few websites and brands I have checked out that may be helpful.

1.Zappos.com
Pros: Great shipping, it's free both ways so you can get a bunch of shoes and return the o
nes you don't want. Also, one time when I ordered their shoes I got them the next day...seriously. They have a good variety of shoes, it's quick and easy and the customer service is good. They also will recommend other shoe brands that are similar to the ones you search, helps when you don't even know where to begin.
Cons: Tends to be more expensive, it is not a discount site. Also sometimes, even after defining your search, there will be 25 or 30
pages of shoes to look at so it can be kind of overwhelming. It's a site you need to play around with before you find what you want.

2. T.J. Maxx, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshalls, etc...
Pro: It's cheap! It's like buying bootleg stuff, without the risk of it being bootleg, ya heard?
Con: It's hit or miss.
They might have stuff, they might not. But they do get new shipments weekly, so it is worth checking out a few times.

3. 6pm.com - I can't say much about this site, because I haven't ordered anything there. But, they do have quite a good selection and they are pretty inexpensive.

4. gothamcityshoes.com - depending on what size you are, this site is good. Lots of brands, not lots of variety within those brands. Definitely worth looking at.

A few brands I have tried and like...
(please remember that my feet may feel differently about these brands than yours will)

Ana got two pair of the same shoes at Dillards for her mission. The were very expensive ! She wore one pair out and has never worn the other ones since returning... LOL

P.S. They have Harley Davidson shoes at Zappos. They are cheaper than usual, but I have never bought any because they only come in medium width. Just thought you might like to know...
